Here we make simple experiment to show a blind test of SMPS

why we say blind test because we can test whether SMPS is OK or not we can not chech all the connector without a multimeter.

How to test Atx SMPS whether its working or dead

Follow these simple steps carefully

1, Disconnects the computer from main power i.e, unplug all ac power supplies cables to the computer.

2, Open the cabinet of the Computer

3, Disconnect all the SMPS connectors from the motherboard and other internal devices carefully

4, Connect the SMPS with ac power supplies

5,Now short the pin number 15 (com) and 16( Ps_On) with each other  and if you see the SMPS fan is running then you find the SMPS is Ok
