Call rates get cheaper according to TRAI by 33% in India ,
TRAI has announced a 33% reduction in charges operators pay each other UIC REGIME-- a step that is expected to pull down the existing local rates in the country.

Which mean there will no more extra charges to call on other network either on GSM,CDMA or Landline,

If you are paying 0.90 paise for local call then you have to pay only 0.60 paise under new tariff effective from April 1st, 2009

TRAI issues Telecommunications Interconnection Usage Charges , according to which "termination charge for all types of domestic calls(fixed-to-fixed, fixed-to-mobile, mobile-to-fixed and mobile-to-mobile) has been reduced to 80 paise from 1.20 paise per minute. 

But ISD interconnection,incoming call charges has been increase from 0.30 paise to 0.40 paise under new tariff

TRAI also said termination charge for 3G voice calls shall be remain same as 2G voice calls.
